Residents of Australia can purchase cryptocurrency in newsagents

Binance’s largest cryptocurrency exchange expands its service to Binance Lite for Australian residents. From now on, residents of this continent will be able to buy Bitcoin (BTC) in newsagents, according The Next Web to March 19th .

So far, the new service is only available for Bitcoin (BTC) cryptocurrency. However, in the future Binance Lite will offer more digital assets and fiat money.

It is reported that such service will be supported by more than 1,300 newsagents throughout Australia. However, before using the service, customers need to undergo an account verification and anti-money laundering procedures. After that, they will be able to place orders online, cash in a newsagent and get their Bitcoin “in a few minutes.” The commission will amount to 5% of the transaction cost.

Recall that in January, exchange added support for purchasing cryptocurrency with a credit card through a partnership with the Simplex payment processor. And on March 15 trades for new pairs were opened on the Binance exchange: XMR/BNB and XMR/USDT
