The Walt Disney Company can become the owner of two cryptoexchanges at once – Bitstamp and Korbit, Bitcoinist reports.

At the moment Disney is one of the main contenders for a 98.6% stake in the largest South Korean manufacturer of games Nexon, which is one of the key assets of the company NXC, which in turn owns the exchanges Bitstamp and Korbit.

Therefore, in the event of an agreement worth $13.2 billion, Disney will become the winner of the leading European crypto-exchange Bitstamp. In this case, the share of Nexon in the South Korean crypto-exchange Korbit is 65,19%.

It is worth noting that Disney has been interested in blockchain technologies for quite a while. So in 2016, he presented the hybrid version of blockchain technology, called Dragonchain, designed to improve the efficiency of business applications and make them safer.

Recall that at the beginning of this month, the subsidiary Bitstamp USA also received a license to provide services from the financial regulator of New York State.
